Living Springs Church
In 1955, the conference appointed Rev. Ronald Rhoades to pioneer the new work in the Minneapolis suburb of Fridley, in a small community called Roslyn Park. A small parsonage was purchased and services were started at the Nelson Elementary School near the present site. The church was organized on March 2, 1958, with twenty-seven charter members. In 1965, the church purchased additional lots and built a rambler-style church parsonage. Rev. Gary Brewster completed the task of consolidating all the church property into one title. In early 2005, the congregation voted to relocate from Roslyn Park to the community of Spring Lake Park where, just thirty blocks north of the Roslyn Park, a larger church building was for sale, which they named "Living Springs Wesleyan Church." The last service at the Roslyn Park site was held on February 27, 2005.
